  1. Virulence of T. gondii clones for BALB/c mice was predicted using virulence markers for the upstream region of ROP18 (UPS-ROP18) and CS3. To determine the in-vivo mouse virulence of the clones, five BALB/c mice were each infected with 106, 104, 102, 10 and 0 tachyzoites i.p. per clone.
