Cell counts are given as counts relative to the total number of gated living lymphocytes. A) B cells expressing CD21+MHCII+ in the peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) population. B) B cells expressing IgM on their cell surface present in ileal lymph nodes (IL LN). An ANOVA model revealed significant differences between the feeding groups (p = 0.043). A t-test was further performed for each age group and the results are shown (+0.05 < p < 0.1).
