Primary DEF cells respond to infection of DK212. The DEF cells were transfected with either the pCAGGS-MDA5-CARD plasmid or the empty plasmid. After 16 h, the cells were infected at a dose of 5 TCID50 by DK212. Supernatants were collected at several time-points and analyzed for their TCID50 titers. Virus titers are expressed as means ± standard deviation in log10 TCID50/mL. For statistical purposes, a value of 1.5 was assigned if the virus was not detected from the undiluted sample.
