The purified RBS and three types of HV were used to perform cell invasion assays. After 1.5 h incubation, the cells were fixed and IFA were performed using anti-His antibodies (left panels) and anti-VLP sera (right panels). The VLP in cells were labeled in green and the cell nuclei were counterstained in red. The His-tags of HV were stained positively when they were presented at the surface of the virions.
