Fishmeal polymer and coated sachet bait formats. The fishmeal polymer (FMP) bait (A) is a cube made of extruded fishmeal and fish oil aggregated by use of a hydrophobic synthetic polymer (Bait Tek, Inc., Orange, TX). Wax is used to hold the vaccine-laden polyethylene sachet inside the bait. The coated sachet (B) is smaller and lighter than the FMP and consists of a vaccine-laden polyethylene sachet coated with wax, cod liver oil and fishmeal crumbles.
