Infection serum (IS, 1:50 dilution) and pre-immune serum (PI, 1:50) were respectively utilized as a positive and negative control. The results are expressed as the percentages of the larvae invading the monolayer and they are shown as the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. Asterisks indicate remarkable differences (P < 0.01) relative to pre-immune serum.
