Vector abundance of mosquito species (in Log ₁₀ [n + 1]) and livestock abundance, per 5 by 5 km area in the Netherlands. Vector, Cx. pipiens s.l. (L.) and Ae. vexans (Meigen), abundances are extrapolated values from Belgian data based on spatial variables [19]. Cattle and sheep & goat abundances (lower maps) are calculated from the per holding number of animals and the location of the farm addresses.
