Activation of the Th9 immune response by HcL6 through the IL-4/STAT6/IRF4-GATA3 and TGF-β/PU.1 signaling pathways. The coincubation of HcL6 with peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) significantly upregulated the transcription of GATA3, IRF4, PU.1, and STAT6. Knockdown of the PU.1 and STAT6 genes suppressed the expression of STAT6, GATA3, and IRF4.
