  1. 27 variables were selected, involving bioclimate, geographic, and socio-economic factors. After screening by the variance inflation factor (VIF), 14 environmental variables were included in the model for outbreaks of RHDV2 in domestic rabbit populations, and 13 environmental variables were included in the model for outbreaks of RHDV2 in wild rabbit populations.
